With a keen focus on an Free and Open Source Software, I have been building and dismantling programs and services for more than 15 years. I'm a strong supporter of Incremental Processes (Inspect & Adapt) and Test Driven Development. For the web, I work on frontend and backend.
Complex systems are hard to understand, machines will fail and services will be attacked. I build deployments using Open Standards and Best Practices, making them reproducible using configuration management. Decoupling, Failover and Security are all first-class citizens.
Data is valuable, yet often in the wrong hands. I believe in Open Data, Open APIs and decentralized Analytics. Machine Learning and Experiments are amazing tools to improve our products and generate insights, for producers and consumers alike. It is imperative that users own their data, not the other way around.
